Where to Start

If you're new to the Studio, here's some helpful information to get you started.

XStandard Editor

SSIDM Studio uses a browser plugin to provide rich-text editing (see below).

XStandard editor

It is recommeded that you download and install the XStandard editor before you can start adding or editing pages. To check whether you have this already, or to see how to download, go to Tools, XStandard Editor or click on this link XStandard editor.

Studio Navigation

You can access all the options from the main menu. See here for a full list of menu options.

The most commonly used options are also avaialble on the home page, and are listed below: -

Pages

 

Pages

This is where you add new pages and make changes to any existing pages. Pages can be of a number of different page types.

  

Site Sections

Site Sections are used to organise your pages into different topics and form the basis of the main menu for your website. It is good idea to create your site sections before starting to add pages so that you don't have to move them around later (although this is actually quite easy).

Creating Pages

Once you have your site sections in place, try creating your first page.
