Adding Video to a Page
You can add a video to any page, or add a video to a panel and atttach that panel to a page. This article shows you how.
Upload Video File
The first thing you need to do is to upload the video to your Image Library. We recommend you create a separate folder to keep the videso out of the way of the rest of your images.
Go to Images
Look for the folder list on the right of the page and use the form to create a new folder called videos, as below, then click on the new videos link to go into that folder.
![]()
Now click on the Upload Images link to upload the video using the XUpload tool. If you haven't used this before, it should install automatically.

Right-click on the control and choose Select Files. Browse your computer to find the video file and click Open to add it to the list of files to upload.
Leave the resize list on -- no resizing -- and click the Upload button.
Add Video to a Page
Go to Page Manager
Once you have created your Page or Panel, click on the [content] tab, choose Video as the Source Type and enter the name of the video file in Source URL, prefixing with 'images/videos/' as below: -

Click on Save Page and then you can use the [preview] tab to see the results.
If you added the video to a panel, you'll need to add the panel to a page and preview that.
If the video doesn't work straight away, check that you've uploaded it to the videos folder and you've spelt the filename exactly right in the Source URL.
This should work with files ending in WMA, WMV, MPG and MOV.
