How to: Set a background for your website
You can set either a background colour or an image for your website. This will fill all the space in the browser that is not taken up with page content.
You'll need to use the Styles tab under Site Configuration to do this.
Note that, if you are going to use an image, you should upload this first using the Image Manager.
Setting a Background Colour
You'll need to find the hex code for the colour. Use one of the colour pickers next to another colour on the Styles page to find this out.
Enter # followed by the colour's number, e.g. #F2F2F2 in the Background Image box.
Save with Recreate CSS ticked.
Setting a Background Image
You'll need to upload the image first using the Image Manager. If you have uploaded this into the main folder, just enter the filename of the image in the Background Image box. If you uploaded it to a folder you must include the folder using /, e.g. backgrounds/mybackground.gif.
Save with Recreate CSS ticked.
That's it!
