How to: Create a new Member Network

If your website includes the Member Network facility, you can create any number of member networks.

To create a new Member Network: -

Go to the Member Networks area.

In the New Network form, type in the name of the network and click Create Network.

Click on the new network using the table on the right.

Amend the properties for the network and click on Save Properties. You will find help for each property in the help section on the right of the page.

If you want to check members before letting them access the network, make sure you tick the Private check-box.

If you have chosen to link the Network to a Site Section, the section's home page will be displayed when members access the network. Otherwise, to create a welcome page for the network, use the editor under the Welcome tab.

If you want to add members to the network, click on the Members tab. After you have added some memebrs, you can return to the Properties tab to assign one of them as the network 'owner'.
